Who is leading KCCNA Today????
The Vicious Diabolic 9, Masterminding the Destruction of KCCNA
My dear Knanaya community members,
Attached you will find some of the many email discussions that have taken place among the so called "Advisors to the current KCCNA President" with instructions to conduct the affairs of KCCNA. The community members of Chicago already received a letter with a summary of a few other email discussions sent by some one.
Although this information was made available to me before the mail hit Chicago land, I did not respond to this since the individuals involved lacked credibility. Now that it became evident that this group is acting on a silent endorsement from the President of KCCNA, (see attachment) it is my obligation to present the facts.
It saddens and disappoints me and many community members who held the KCCNA President at high esteem, to learn about his association with this vicious group who have no good intentions and have not made any positive contributions to this community other than destructive emails.
The KCCNA President advovates to this group, “We need to be sensitive to if people from outside write emails that will backfire. If anything come, it must be form Chicago . Its very easy to stimulate nationalism when people from outside start to criticize.” (see attachment with response from Shiens).. What love for KCS Chiacgo!!!!!!!!
I hope the strategy of Sonny Poozhkala really works at the upcoming NC to discredit Nella/madhavapallil. Mr. Poozhikala may have forgotten that it was KCS Chicago who always made major contributions to KCCNA while the unit you represent remained a unit at large for many years. You seem to enjoy the current turmoil of KCS Chicago that you masterminded.
At the first NC meeting of the current KCCNA admin, the NC unanimously approved a motion by the KCCNA president that said “there is no accountability outside of KCCNA NC”, which led to the dismissal of the elected delegates that were not NC members to DKCC . I wonder why this rule was not applied while nominating Sonny to the Constitution committee.
Reny Meckattil has promised to throw some bones for Myalkara and his supporters to promote convention in Tampa . ( Please see attachment)
Who else is getting bones from Reny and the team?? Good luck.
Dear members of the community, these are only some of the emails from this so called “Strategy Committee”. You be the Judge. Wait for more ……..
Attachemnts:
- Sonny Poozhikala’s advise to KCCNA president to discredit Nella/Sunil Madhavapallil at the upcoming NC

I agree that there is no harm to see Shiens favoring a move from Chicago. Even the majority in Chicago prefers that. I suggest we hold a conference call this week (except Saturday) or early next week (Monday) to formulate a strategy for next week, as well as for NC. The other side is going to play dirty game, and Shiens may even have to play the same tactics Nella used in Atlanta on SA issue. We have to strategise as to how the issue should be presented in the NC in order to convince the independents. Shiens may have to present/read the email he sent to the community (which was very effective). Since he controls the floor, he can limit the time each NC member has to express their opinion (Nella/Vattadi included). He can also give the clear message that in the EC has strong opposition to having the convention in Chicago based on the current situation there. He can also point out that other units, especially Tampa, is far ahead in Convention preparations, in that they already has a facility available, while McCormic isn't sure any more. As a tactical move, Shiens may bring the Constitution Committee's report to floor (preferably) prior to the Convention issue, to discredit Nella/Sunil. The idea is to destroy Nella/Madhava credibility. You may table the lawyer's letter that was received prior to the Dallas convention, which clearly advised the KCCNA that we have every legal right to exclude the adopted kids, and Nella and Madhava deliberately hid that advice/letter from the then EC in order to force on the NC an illegal online voting. Since the lawyer himself advised the Constitution Committee that he (the lawyer), is aware of forwarding his letter to the current President and Gen. Secretary (you and Siby) you now have a legitimate reason (in fact moral responsibility) to have it disclosed to the NC. Nella cannot claim breach of confidentiality any more because the Chicago lawyer responded directly to me, as the Constitution Committee Chair, and you can table in the NC the correspondence between myself and the lawyer. Nella and Madhavappally clearly misled the then EC and fooled the NC. The contents of the lawyer's letter is in total contradiction to what Nella/Madhava led the EC/NC believe. The lawyer clearly said we KCCNA can legally exclude adopted children, and it will be very difficult for the other side to prove "irrepearable harm" in order to obtain an injunction against holding the convention. (Cons. Comm. response will have the direct quote from the lawyer). Also, we may even sent out hints through emails (I can write one) questioning the legitamacy of DKCC, based on KCCNA constitution , to keep Nella busy. There is no reference to DKCC anywhere in the constitution, hence, how could his election legitimate> The relationship,( including how representatives are elected), between KCCNA and DKCC is an issue. Make sure Siby is on side, (on the letter issue) since he raised with me some sensitivity on the letter. In any case we need to formulate a strategy. Reny, how do we approach SA emails (Tojo's and Mutholam's) - my suggestion is to leak them out as soon as Mutholam board the plain to SA (on Saturday). May be Benoy can find out what time on Sat., Dec 3rd, Muth is leaving for SA. Everyone, please keep this letter issue extremely confidential.

On Wed, Nov 30, 2011 at 6:35 PM, Thomas, John <John.S.Thomas@morganstanley.com> wrote: Shiens, At this stage of the game you should sound very confident and certain about moving the convention when talking to NC members. If they are not sure where you are leaning and if Chicago NC is not united in moving it out, you could face major issues. It would all depend on how strong you are and how you sound when conducting the meeting. Regarding Shaji coming un invited to NY, no one can stop him. But you and the EC should be able to stop him from attending the NC meeting specially when discussing the convention issue. I would not be surprised if you get written assurance from Shaji and his group members that they are willing to follow the NC decisions about where the convention should be held in Chicago . Based on such assurances if NC agrees to keep it in Chicago at McCormick, it will certainly portray the EC as very weak and toyed with by Shaji and Koova group. Nella and Sunil Madhava's comments should draw strong response from San Antonio . There has to be enough material in their reasoning for a chicago convention for San Anto to point out their reckless, arrogant and divisive intentions when dealing with their matter just months earlier. San Anto can poke deep holes in their credibility. Why would Tampa folks not force Sunil and Myal to talk forcefully about moving the conv to Tampa ? They should be able to silence him. You should also prevent Houston and Tampa supporting the cause to move convention from Chicago on conditions that they be awarded the conv. If there is such a conditional support I think the whole thing could back fire - don't be surprised if the politicians play that angle to ultimately keep it

I too agree that it is time for KCCNA EC to take a firm stand in moving the convention from Chicago , as they had provided enough opportunity for an amicable solution. The EC could say that due to lack of time KCCNA cannot take another chance and also there are other units ready to conduct the convention. How the EC do the presention and the wording of the resolution would be very important. I was told that KCS EC would ask NC to retain convention in Chicago, both to cover their face and also they don't want to get blamed for not asking for it. Also because in the last attempt, when KCCNA EC asked KCS EC & Chairman if they could conduct the convention in McCormic, KCS had mentioned 'YES'. Not sure if anyone from Chicago will openly support moving the convention out of Chicago . In the last KCS Genearal Body (GB) meeting, George Nella/Shaji's group suggested to bring a resolution for Shaji to do a presentation in the next NC meeting, and also to pass a resolution indicating that all Chicago members are united and hence there is no problem here. The GB rejected both, and the only decision made was to respect whatever decision the NC makes. In order to establish that there are still major division in Chicago , someone can ask the KCS President regarding the above rejected suggestions/resolutions. Houston for sure needs to do the convention presentation, you never know where the NC would lean to. Also this will make all Houston NC members to attend the NC meeting and will have to openly support moving the convention out of Chicago . This way Ani's supporters would be forced to vote for it. Has anyone made sure that all SA NC members are coming to attend the NC meeting? If so, they need to be guided how to support the EC. Also let them know that Tojo/Vattadi was supporting Shaji. I heard that in Tampa 's GB meeting, two persons were against conducting the convention and Sunil Madhavappally was one of them. Regards, Benoy Assarikutt

Dear NC members: On December 10, 2011, our elected representatives will have a historic meeting. There you get the rare opportunity to express your views honestly, and make a decision that respects the wishes and sentiments of the people who elected you, the very same people who placed the trust in you. As the elected NC member, I am sure you have been following the turmoil that surrounds the convention that was supposed to take place in Chicago . Setting aside the numerous arguments put forth in favor of one facility or the other (MCCormic versus Rosemont), please consider the aftermath. At this juncture, Chicago unit is polarized and totally divided. Chicago's elected leaders as well as the ones the local General body elected to organize the convention, has disappointed the community to such great extent, there is a very strong sentiment against the holding the convention in Chicago at this time. The infighting within the Chicago community is totally unacceptable, and there is no doubt that it will further hurt. The chances of conducting a united, successful convention in Chicago is virtually nil. Other units like Tampa and Houston have come forward united willing to hold a decent, historic convention. KCCNA conventions should not be a playground to settle scores, personality conflicts and impose ego. For the sucess of any convention, the local leadership and the elected Convention Chairpersn have to work co-operatively, hand in hand. The elected Convention Chairperson must accept the fact that it is the local leadership whom KCCNA entrusted the convention with. This is a democratic organization, and all elected organizers are accountable to KCCNA leadership and the community. No one should behave as if their assigned responsibility is their personal fiefdom. During none of the previous convention, the elected chairperson behaved as if he he is unaccountable to the community and KCCNA's elected leadership. Such attitude guarantees the failure of the convention. At this time, Chicago KCS is totally unprepared for the convention. The unit is divided, which, no doubt, will adversily affect the convention. In fact information from Tampa indicates they are far ahead of Chicago in organisation and preparedness, and have a facility ready, if the NC awards them the convention. On the other hand, Chicago is still fighting about the facility. And that fight would be piece of cake compared to what will follow. You, our elected representatives, ask yourself one question: Is Chicago the right place to hold the convention this time, given the mess they are in now? What we, the community members who elected you, is asking you to do is to please respect the sentiment of the community members. You may have friends, relatives and personal sympathies towards Chicago, but you should not forget that your first and foremost responsibility is to respect the desirres and sentiments of those who elected you. The community's request to our NC members is: Please be FAIR to us. Respect our desire. Move the Convention from Chicago this time. Sonny Poozhikala
