We need some email campaigning again, primarily directed towards NC members. No doubt Shaji, Koova, Vacha etc will be trying hard to bring the convention back to Chicago. We need to get an initiative from Chicago to have the convention moved out ofChicago. From talking to many, I get the impression that people don't want Chicago. The NC members who show up at NY also should be influenced. That is why we need some emails. I will publish all the one which support a move from Chicago. We can get AmericanKna to do so also (I also have the email list of all NC members). We need tos tar working now. If Benoy can work behind the scences and get KCS GB on Nov 19 to decide to move Convention from Chicago, that wll be a victory. It has to be done discretely, otherwise Koova and Shaji will join together, along with Vachas, and Chicago RVP. They won't support to miss any photo op.   I am hearing everything is not well and cool in the clergy family. Apparently, Fr. Dominic is moved out of San Antonio. I had a chat with Tojo. He said there are allegations (from the Pally group) that he embezzed $10,000.

There are also allegations that he move d funds in Atlanta (where he is serving now) from Mission to another account controlled by him. Apparently, Moolakkaden was in San Antonio to ease tension, and according to Tojo (I don't know how reliable or trustworthy the statement is), Moolakkaden told the priests present at San Antonio (there were  4 or 5 of them) that Association supporters also are Knananites and the priests should refrain from groupism. He (Tojo) could be bullshitting. 

 He also said there are some gruopism among priests (which probably is true) and Mulavanal  and the priest  from Miami are the leaders that are opposed to Mutholam (seems Dominic also is not with Mutholam). Their reputation at Kottayam is not the same sa Manappuram. If this is correct, we should take advantage of this situation (that is use the same strategy priests are using - divide and conquer), by actively promoting one of the priests (probably Mulavanal has more clout than the one in Miami). KCCNA may even request to replace Mutholam with Mulavanal - even saints will fall for the "appakshnam" of power and glory (if that can happen, Mutholam will become  the biggest pro KCCNA priest - politics again

That way we can also divert the attention from the convention debate at least to an extend.   Btw, the letter was very good. We should get somebody to ask why Shaji didn't raise the security issue before his election. Since McCormick was selected six weeks before the election, he had plenty of time to bring his concerns to the community but he intentionally kept quite to get elected. That way you can paint him as an opportunist and dishonest.

I would be surprised if Shaji Edat and Koovakadan will let convention be moved out of Chicago. I too strongly agree, beware of Koovakadan, who pretends to be friendly with you and KCCNA EC. He has root in the EC.   I have serious concern to move convention to Houston. As Renie mentioned, the present political climate is not conducive for a convention. Palli group and 'LDF' will try to sabotage the convention Manakunnel will win the election, mainly because of church issue. But many in 'UDF' would not trust him and his inner group. UDF is not strong as before. It has groups
